Cerebral aneurysm
<< Back to AnimationsThe tissue of the brain is supplied by a network of cerebral arteries. If the wall of a cerebral artery becomes weakened, a portion of the wall may balloon out forming an aneurysm. A cerebral aneurysm may enlarge until is bursts, sending blood throughout the spaces in or surrounding the brain.
