It is the Breast Health Navigator's goal to make sure you understand your breast health options -- that you are seeing the correct specialists and undergoing the correct treatments for your diagnosis. She will help you schedule appointments and procedures, expediting the access to diagnostic and treatment procedures. Your Navigator is your consistent point of contact for questions, emotional support, and referrals.


In addition to meeting your physical and educational needs, your Breast Health Navigator can help you work through the emotional issues intertwined with difficult treatment decisions. She will listen, talk, and put you in touch with people who understand and know how to help. One such avenue is the St. Francis Spiritual Care program.


St. Francis offers the services of our Breast Health Navigator at no cost to any woman who is a patient of the St. Francis Breast Health Center. Outside referrals to St. Francis services from physician offices and hospital staff are also accepted.
