Center for Adult and Family Medicine

At the Center for Adult and Family Medicine, we believe that your visit should be a pleasant experience. One where you are greeted warmly, where your schedule is respected, and where patients have easy access to the care and information you need.

Our physicians are dedicated to enhancing our patients' quality of life through preventative and evidence-based practice of medicine, and chronic disease management. They network closely with other Bon Secours Medical Group physicians and specialists to better serve your needs.

We offer same-day sick visits and accept most health insurance, as well as self-pay.

In House Laboratory Services

We give our patients the convenience of having a good portion of their lab work completed in-house at the time of their visit. Please note that some insurance contracts require testing by an outside lab. Those that we can complete in-house we will, and you will know your results in 24-48 hours.

Prescription Refills

For your convenience you may pick up the prescription at the front office if you have been seen within the last three months. However, we ask that you call our office 24-48 hours ahead of time so we can have the refill ready.

Patient Centered Medical Home

Center for Adult and Family Medicine is proud to be recognized as a Patient-Centered Medical Home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance. This recognition is earned for using evidence-based, patient-centered processes that focus on highly coordinated care and long-term, participative relationships.

The NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home is a model of primary care that combines teamwork and information technology to improve care, improve patients’ experience of care and reduce costs. Medical homes foster ongoing partnerships between patients and their personal clinicians, instead of approaching care as the sum of episodic office visits. Each patient’s care is overseen by clinician-led care teams that coordinate treatment across the health care system. Research shows that medical homes can lead to higher quality and lower costs, and can improve patient and provider reported experiences of care.

NCQA standards aligned with the joint principles of the Patient-Centered Medical Home established with the American College of Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Osteopathic Association.

CAFM Family

Recently, the Center for Adult and Family Medicine participated as a team in a 5K Run/Walk at Furman to benefit Miracle Hill Ministries. There were even some winners from among our group! To see more photos from the event, visit our CAFM Facebook page.
