Smoking Cessation


Quitting smoking can be difficult, but it is also one of the best things you can do for your health. St. Francis can help you take action to become – and stay – smoke free.
 
The program begins with an individual interview with a certified smoking cessation counselor, who will meet with you individually to determine your level of nicotine dependence, and if you are ready to begin an intensive program After the interview, a complete smoking history and permission from your physician, you will be enrolled in a weekly program that meets on Monday nights and offers education and support throughout the process of quitting.

Safe Sitter


Safe Sitter is a two-day instructional program designed for 11 to 13 year olds that stresses how to handle emergenices-major and minor. Students listen, practice, and role play to learn about a variety of topics, including: safety precautions, rescue breathing techniques, recognizing emergencies, and calling for emergency help. Safe Sitter also covers the child care basics: how to feed and diaper an infant, what behaviors to expect with each age group. Principles of ethical and business aspects of babysitting are discussed. To become an official Safe Sitter, students must pass an oral, written, and practical exam at the end of the program. A graduation ceremony is held on the last day. Presented by Certified Safe Sitter Instructors.

A natural and modern scientific method of family planning that is 99.6% effective. Delivered by Allied Health professionals who received their certification by the American Academy of Fertility Care.
