Health Insurance

St. Francis offers an insurance plan that covers 60-100 percent of inpatient coverage along with other medical costs, depending on choice of plan. Urgent care coverage and prescription drug cards are provided. Single, employee +1, and family coverage options are available. More info >>

St. Francis' dental insurance plan offers 100 percent coverage of preventative dental visits, along with coverage of other dental costs. Single, employee +1, and family coverage options are available. More info >>

Health and Dependent Care Spending Accounts

St. Francis employees may fund un-reimbursed health care and dependent care expenses with before-tax dollars through a flexible spending account.

Life Insurance

St. Francis provides employees with coverage equal to annual salary for life and AD&D. Additional coverage may be purchased if desired. Dependent coverage is available. More info >>

Paid Time Off (PTO)

Employees accrue paid time-off hours bi-weekly that may be used for vacation or sick time as needed.

Short-Term and Long-Term Disability

Full-Time Employees Only|  St. Francis employees are offered both short and long term disability at no cost to the employee. A voluntary short-term disability plan is available. More info >>

Vision Plan

Legal Insurance

Preventive legal services and paid-in-full representation through an extensive legal network is available.

Retirement

St. Francis contributes 3% of base salary and will match a percentage of an employee's contributions to a 403b Plan. More info >>

Tuition Assistance

St. Francis will pay up to $3,000 (FT) and $1,500 (PT) per year for employees' work-related college courses. (Degree programs only, does not include certificate programs).

Credit Union

PRN included  |  St. Francis offers services to employees at the Credit Union, including savings accounts and loans available through payroll deduction.

Direct Deposit

PRN included  |  Payroll checks are deposited directly into employees' in-state accounts.

Family Medical Leave

Employees may take 12 weeks of unpaid family medical leave with job service protection, if eligible.

Employee Assistance Program

PRN included  |  All employees are offered a confidential employee assistance program to help with any emotional or financial problems.

Discounts

PRN included  |  Employees are offered discounts in the cafeterias, on St. Francis' bills, discount banking services at Bank of America, BB&T, SunTrust, and Wachovia; on Verizon Wireless phone services, purchases made at The Shoe Box, Scrubs in Motion, Oreck Vacuums, select events at the Peace Center, and membership fees at the SportsClub of Greenville and Coop's Gym.

Funeral Pay 

Employees are given up to 24 hours off (up to 8 hours PT) for the death of an immediate family member.

Jury Pay

Employees on jury duty are paid for days scheduled to work, up to a maximum of 20 days.
