Education Stations

Body Care  |  Fitness and Massage
Keeping your body fit is an important part of a healthy pregnancy.  We'll help you understand when and how to exercise while pregnant, and when it is best to get back into your routine post-partum. You'll also learn the benefits of massage as a comfort for both mom and baby!

Breastfeeding
The perfect food for a baby is breast milk. The certified Consultants from the St. Francis Lactation Center can share with you the education, resources, and products we have to help for breastfeeding and understanding baby's needs.

Caring for Baby
Having a baby is exciting as well as it is full of responsibilities. This station will help you understand more about bathing, diapering, feeding, and other baby-care needs.

Infant Safety
Young children love to explore their environment, so that’s why it is so important to take the time to prepare yourself, your home, and your car to ensure the safest environment for your infant.

Pregnancy and Childbirth Preparation
It’s important to understand all the aspects involved with having a baby: pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. Let us help you understand more about nutrition, anatomy, exercise, emotional and the physical aspects of pregnancy and labor.

Sibling and Pet Preparation
Having a new baby means changes to your family structure. For children, you can help them adjust by answering their questions on a level they can understand. In cases where a pet has been the “only child," they will also need help adjusting; let this Education Station be your helpful resource!

St. Francis Neonatal Care Unit
St. Francis offers 'round the clock neonatology care in our Neonatal Care Unit (NCU). Learn more about our NCU services and meet our board-certified neonatologist during his morning presentation.

St. Francis Special Services
Interested in having a Doula at your birth, or do you want to know what a Doula does? Is future family planning of interest? Want to know more about the special services, like CarePages, that St. Francis has to offer? Make plans to visit this station!
