Hand and Upper Extremity Rehabilitation


The Hand and Upper Extremity Rehabilitation Clinic offers treatment for:

Therapy provided by physical therapists may include: 
  • Instruction in edema control techniques

  • Activities of daily living
  • Joint preservation
  • Energy conservation
  • Range of motion and strengthening exercises

Custom splinting to assist with rest or protection of involved joints and tendons is provided when indicated. Simulated work tasks and functional activities also are incorporated into the treatment program.
