This back view of the knee shows three of the four ligaments of the
knee. The anterior cruciate ligament is not shown; it is behind the posterior
cruciate ligament. The four knee ligaments connect the upper leg bone (femur)
with the large lower leg bone (tibia) and stabilize knee movement.
