Interventional Radiology at St. Francis

Interventional Radiology consists of a wide array of procedures that use minimally-invasive procedures to help physicians either diagnose disease or treat patients during the procedure. The images obtained during these procedures are used as a guide to allow the physician to guide needles or catheters through the body to the area that is being studied.

St. Francis has a full-service Interventional Radiology department and includes South Carolina’s only Vascular Institute. Our vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists work as a team to determine the best procedure for each patient’s unique needs.
