FRANCIS eastside, and offers services and supplies designed to help breastfeeding mothers. The Center sells hard-to-find lactation items such as Medela pumps, nursing bras, nursing gowns and accessories. We even have our own bra fitting specialist. Breastfeeding ServicesSt. Francis offers an extensive variety of breastfeeding services as part of our Lactation Center. Our certified Lactation Consultants provide inpatient and outpatient support, including prenatal breast assessments, weight checks, phone consultations, and a breastfeeding class and support group. Lactation ConsultantsWe are fortunate to have International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC) on staff at ST. FRANCIS eastside. The Consultants cover inpatient needs a minimum of six days per week including weekends and at least two evenings. The Breastfeeding Phone Line (864-675-4215) is covered every day of the week. If a mom calls with a problem, she will usually receive a call back the same day, but assuredly within 24 hours. Our goal is to be the community’s resource for excellence in breastfeeding services.
