Staying on the forefront of surgical innovation, and together with leading Upstate surgeons, St. Francis was the first to provide a MiniSurgery Center to area residents.

MiniSurgery, commonly referred to as minimally-invasive or laparoscopic surgery, is a surgery technique utilizing small incisions and specialized equipment. Miniature cameras, tiny flashlights and high-definition monitors are used by surgeons to perform many procedures. Best of all, only one or two stitches are used to close the incision resulting in smaller scars and bigger smiles...getting you back to life quicker. Below are common procedures using minimally-invasive techniques.
