Bon Secours Health System Wins Gallup Great Workplace Award For Third Consecutive Year
Bon Secours Health System is one of the recipients of the 2014 Gallup Great Workplace Award. The award honors organizations whose employee engagement results demonstrate they have the most productive and engaged workforces in the world. This is the third consecutive year that Bon Secours has won the Gallup Great Workplace Award.
Bon Secours Health System was also the winner of Gallup’s “Essence of Engagement” Award. The award, one of the categories in Gallup’s newly-created Excellence in Engagement Awards, recognizes organizations that demonstrate the epitome of an engaged culture and where engagement permeates throughout the entire organization.
In addition, Ingrid Manley, Director of Bon Secours’ Enterprise Information Services Support Center, was named a finalist for the first-ever 2014 Gallup Manager of the Year award. Manley has worked for Bon Secours Health System since 2007 and every year under her leadership, her department has surpassed the 90th percentile ranking for employee engagement.
“At Bon Secours Health System, we know that engaged employees are critical to quality patient care, high levels of patient satisfaction, and excellent financial results,” stated Richard J. Statuto, president and chief executive of Bon Secours Health System. “I see the tangible differences our engaged employees make every day. Winning the Gallup Great Workplace Award for three years running and now, winning the first-ever “Essence of Engagement” award confirms again that Bon Secours is a great place to work.”
“These award-winning organizations set a new standard for workplace excellence,” said Dr. James Harter, Chief Scientist, Gallup. “They have proven track records for improving lives along with performance. The management tenets they practice have proven value in both thriving and struggling economies overall.”
