David G. Anderson, MD  |  Bariatric Surgeon

Dr. Anderson is a board certified surgeon who specializes in bariatric surgery. He has successfully completed more than 450 gastric bypass cases and more than 90 Lap-Band procedures.
 
Dr. Anderson is a graduate of New York Medical College and completed advanced training at both Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla, New York, and Baptist Hospital in Miami, Florida. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgery, a member of the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery, and a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons.

Jeffrey A. Chaudhari, MD  |  Bariatric and Minimally Invasive Surgeon

Dr. Chaudhari is a board certified surgeon who specializes in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery.  He is licensed to practice in New York and South Carolina, and has performed more than 200 laparoscopic Roux-en-y gastric bypasses and gastric banding procedures.  He has also performed sleeve gastrectomies in New York State.
 
Dr. Chaudhari graduated summa cum laude from the University of Connecticut, with a B.S. degree in Biology. He remained in Connecticut and completed his doctor of medicine at the University of Connecticut.  He then completed his surgical internship and residency at New York Medical College/Westchester Medical Center, followed by a Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery Fellowship at the same institution.  He is a member of ASMBS, SAGES, NYSS, SSNYMC and SLS.  As the newest member of St. Francis' Surgical Weight Loss Program Team, Dr. Chaudhari is looking forward to tackling the problem of morbid obesity in the Upstate.

Beth Riley, MSW, LISW-CP  |  Licensed Social Worker

Beth is a graduate of Stanford University and received a master's degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina. Upon completing her graduate work, she established a private practice and has been serving Upstate residents for 11 years. Her practice uses a unique and personalized collaborative treatment model, which includes incorporating loved ones and consultations with medical providers, dietitians, schools and coaches.

She is a founding member of PHED UP (Professionals Healing Eating Disorders in the Upstate), a member of the IAEDP (International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals), a member of NEDA (National Eating Disorder Association), charter member of the Clinical Social Workers Association as well as a member of the South Carolina Clinical Society of Social Workers.

Stacie Bullock, MA, RD, LD  |  Licensed Dietitian

Stacie Bullock is a registered dietitian, licensed in the state of South Carolina. She received her Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition from Clemson University, completed her dietetic internship with the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control, and obtained a Master of Arts in Psychology: Clinical Counseling from The Citadel.

Stacie practiced clinical nutrition with Roper St. Francis Healthcare in Charleston, SC, where she enjoyed the intensive care and surgical units, with a major interest in nutrition support. She is now Clinical Nutrition Manager for Bon Secours St. Francis Health System and a proud part of the Surgical Weight Loss Program team.

Stacie enjoys college football and is happy to be back in the Upstate with her Tigers. She enjoys traveling, the beach, and spending time with friends, family, and her pug, Cooper.

Carla Glover, RN, BSN  |  Surgical Weight Loss Program Manager

Carlas passion for the Surgical Weight Loss Program is personal she is a surgical weight loss success story. After bariatric surgery in September 2000, she lost 130 pounds. As the Surgical Weight Loss Navigator, Carla serves as one point of contact for our surgical patients, coordinating appointments, answering questions and providing support.

Carla earned her Associates in Nursing degree from the University of South Carolina and her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Gardner Webb University. She has 15 years of experience as a critical care nurse, and six years of experience in healthcare management roles. Carla is currently pursuing her MBA with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration from Southern Wesleyan University.  

Carla also is the founder of Weight Loss Surgery Friends in South Carolina support group, where she served as moderator for two years. Carla truly believes weight loss surgery saved her life, and is excited to be a part of the Surgical Weight Loss Program, as she knows that many lives will not only be saved, but changed forever.
