Our Speech Pathology program offers a comprehensive evaluation by a speech-language
pathologist
to develop individualized treatment programs for patients with a wide variety
of conditions, such as:
Deficits in speaking, understanding, hearing, swallowing or cognition
Deficits in attention, memory, reasoning or judgement
St. Francis also offers voice restoration after tracheoesophageal puncture
and hands-free speech (using the Adjustable Tracheostoma Valve®) programs
for post-laryngectomy patients.
