St. Francis provides inpatient and outpatient surgery at four facilities. St. Francis Hospital, located downtown, hosts complicated inpatient procedures and those that require a hospital stay. Most same-day surgeries now take place at the new St. Francis Outpatient Center, located adjacent to the main hospital.
On the Eastside, St. Francis Women’s & Family Hospital provides gynecological services and general procedures as well as specialized surgeries for acute sinusitis, stress incontinence and morbid obesity. Upstate Surgery Center, an outpatient surgical center, also serves Greenville's Eastside.
